Students are not only trained in operating computers, they are also taught using computer technology methods for better understanding and making learning easy. Students from Kindergarten to 10th standard are introduced to computers in a well-equipped computer lab provided.
Kindergarten includes three stages: Pre-KG for children aged 3 to 4 years, LKG for children aged 4 to 5 years, and UKG for children aged 5 to 6 years. Children learn through the “Laugh and Learn” method using play, songs, stories, and indoor and outdoor activities. There are no formal tests, as learning is joyful and activity-based. Trained teachers guide children to develop discipline, good manners, social behavior, and respect for parents, teachers, and elders.
Unit tests are conducted after the completion of each lesson. The Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation system is followed to assess students through formative and summative assessments conducted at regular intervals during the academic year. Preparatory examinations are conducted for students appearing for public examinations. The institution has consistently achieved 100% results in the 10th standard with a high number of first classes. Progress cards and unit test books are regularly shared with parents, providing details about students’ attendance, behaviour, and discipline. Special attention is given to slow learners, and additional guidance is provided. If necessary, students are referred to child psychologists through their parents.
To develop a sound mind and a sound body, trained physical education instructors impart knowledge in various games, physical exercises, band music, and march past during a compulsory daily 45 minutes PT period. Arrangements are also made for interested students to learn swimming. Merited students are sent to various inter-school competitions and other important Sports Meets. Their talents are rewarded on the day of Annual Sports Meet.
Regular triangular meetings of Management – Teachers – Parents are arranged to facilitate parents to know the academic progress of their wards, where they can voice their opinion and suggest changes that they deem necessary. They can also meet teachers individually regarding problems, if any, concerning their wards during the mentioned timings.
Occasional excursions are arranged to places of academic interest like Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Vishweshwariah Industrial Museum, and various other educational exhibitions within the city. Students are also taken on annual education tours to places of historical importance. Nursery children are taken to nearby resorts to beat the academic monotony.
To inculcate a sense of patriotism among children, national festivals are celebrated with pomp and glory. Rich compliments are paid to teachers on Teacher's Day.
Yoga sessions are conducted to promote physical fitness, concentration, flexibility, and mental well-being among students. Trained instructors guide students through daily yoga exercises suitable for all age groups. On every Wednesday, yoga class is conducted for students from Class 1 to 10.
Our school has a spacious auditorium equipped with a high-quality sound system and speakers. It is used for assemblies, cultural programs, seminars, and various student activities, providing an ideal environment for events and presentations.
The institution has a well-maintained library that houses a valuable collection of rare books. These books enrich students’ knowledge, encourage reading habits, and provide exposure to historical, literary, and academic resources that are not commonly available.
